The General Library plays a crucial role in the academic and research environment of Government College Kariavattom. The library is fully automated with the Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) KOHA version 21.05 which ensures up-to-date features and functionalities for optimal management of library resources. Books in the library are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme. UGC-INFLIBNET accounts are provided to faculty and students to facilitate academics and research by providing access to scholarly information and resources. The library has a reading area, a separate reference section for various subjects, and a browsing area for students. The library also maintains subscriptions to science journals, newspapers, periodicals, and magazines.
