The student IQAC was constituted at Government College Kariavattom, to assist the college in its activities towards quality assurance where students can assist the college in various capacities. The Student IQAC has 103 members having representation from every department in the college. Having student representatives within the IQAC ensures that student perspectives and concerns are considered in the quality assurance processes. Students being the main stakeholders can provide feedback on various aspects of the functioning of the institution which includes teaching quality, infrastructure, facilities, etc. The feedback obtained can then be used by the IQAC to identify areas for improvement. Being part of IQAC, the students can actively participate in quality improvement initiatives identified by the IQAC which involves participation in workshops, seminars, or projects aimed at enhancing the overall quality of education and services provided by the institution.
