
The college has a fully automated general library with over 20,000 books, 40 journals and periodicals and six newspapers. The library functions from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
| Books will be issued only on production of identity card | |
| All students of the college are members of the Library Reading Room. The library will remain open on all working days from 8.00 am to 5 pm. | |
| Silence shall be strictly observed in the library, Reading Room and its premises. | |
| Books in the reference section will not be lent out. They may be referred inside the library hall. | |
| A student is permitted to borrow only one book at a time. | |
| Students are not allowed to keep the borrowed book for more than fourteen days | |
| Failure to return a book on the date entails a fine of Re-1 per week | |
| Books taken for the vacation shall be returned within the first three working days after the reopening | |
| A student against whom any charge is outstanding will not be allowed to borrow from any library. | |
| Marking, underlining, tearing of pages or damaging any books or manuscript will invite severe punishment. | |
| While borrowing books, students shall bring to the notice of the librarian, damages if any in the books, otherwise they will be held responsible for such damages. | |
| Compensation for books lost or in any way damaged must be paid according to the librarian’s estimate of their value. | |
| No newspaper or periodical should be taken out of the reading room. |
